Rose, when I look at you my heart grows two sizes bigger each time. When you are playing so quietly, sleeping gently, or even when you aren't in the best of moods and need every ounce of attention you can get, I love you more than anything. I don't know how I got so lucky to be on the receiving end of your hugs and kisses. I am so thankful.

loving this song so much right now! I first heard it in the movie Vexille (which I highly recommend, if you are also an anime & sci-fi nerd like me).

Lately, I am feeling like such a tiny vessel in this cell we call the Earth. I have been taking the time to stop and enjoy nature as much as possible. Even if that just means looking at the hills from my balcony. Our planet is so beautiful in so many ways. I wish I could someday live out in the wilderness, simply. There is nothing better than being in the forest and losing who you are when you are in your daily and weekly routines. Connecting with what keeps us alive is so important to me. I find so much peace in the trees swaying, moss, tiny mushrooms, baby grass sprouting, and flower buds. If you listen well, it sounds like the trees are whispering to one another. Or maybe they are whispering to us...
